On Tuesday, April 23rd, Chef Daniel Boulud will celebrate the launch of his own Single Malt Scotch Whisky by offering an exclusive whisky inspired prix fixe menu at each of his 6 New York City culinary destinations - Daniel, Cafe Boulud, Boulud Sud, DB Bistro Moderne, Bar Boulud and DBGB.

The format of each menu will remain constant throughout each restaurant; starting with a unique Dalmore 12 year old cocktail, a range of seasonal savor courses inspired by Scotland, followed by a dessert infused with Chef Boulud’s whisky, and finishing with a glass of the newly launched The Dalmore Selected by Daniel Boulud.

Prices for The Dalmore Selected by Daniel Boulud menu will vary per restaurant (as noted below) as will the dishes, ensuring each restaurant brings to life Chef Boulud’s whisky with its own originality and flair.

Following the launch, Chef Boulud’s whisky will be a fixture at each of his restaurants, as will the dessert pairings created for this evening of luxury.

After months of collaborating with The Dalmore’s Master Distiller Richard Paterson, Chef Boulud created this bespoke Single Malt Scotch Whisky based on his specific flavor preferences and the cuisine of his restaurants.

This creation is the first ever Single Malt Scotch Whisky crafted personally by a Michelin Star chef. After launching at his restaurants, The Dalmore Selected by Daniel Boulud is being considered for a retail launch in the fall of 2013.

You will be the first consumers to taste The Dalmore Selected by Daniel Boulud and experience the pairings Chef Boulud has created for this special evening. Chef Boulud will visit each of his restaurant locations throughout the evening to celebrate the launch with his valued customers.
