Char No. 4 doesn't have a TV, but that has never stop us from having a Kentucky Derby Party. Join us this Saturday, May 3rd for our 6th annual Derby on The Radio, which is the more traditional, and for purists, arguably the more enjoyable way to experience the race. The post time is 6:24 pm.
Barrel-Aged Mint Juleps will be $8 dollars all day and with every mint julep you order, you'll get to draw a ticket that has the name of one of the horses in the Derby. Anyone with a ticket that has the name of the winning horse will receive a 375 ml bottle of Bourbon. There are a limited number of tickets so early julep drinkers will be rewarded.
Our kitchen will also be serving a Kentucky Hot Brown with house-smoked ham, turkey and bacon served over french toast and topped with mornay sauce and a fried egg for $16. The Hot Brown will be available at the bar and in the dining room from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
