The 5-10% of whiskey lost to evaporation each year is commonly referred to as the "Angel's Share." After tasting the finished whiskey, legendary distiller, Lincoln Henderson, joked that we mere mortals had finally gotten a better deal than the angels. And so... Angel's Envy.
The whiskeys from Angel's Envy are bourbons and ryes of outstanding quality, aged in new charred white-oak barrels and then finished in port and rum casks. The port and rum cask finish provides a distinctive and delicious character to these unique whiskeys.
