Astor Center’s 8th Annual Bacon & Bourbon event is here!

Join us in our celebration of two great American pleasures by tasting your way through the best of the best: 50+ samples of bourbon, rye and other American whiskies, paired with smoky, porky fare.

This year, we’re cooking up bacon from only the best of what our neighborhood has to offer. Brooklyn Cured, Schaller & Weber, The Meat Hook and Dickson’s Farmstand Meats are all part of the bacon tasting plate and you get to eat them side by side to discover whose bacon truly reigns supreme. We'll also have Gunbae Tribeca, a restaurant new to the Korean BBQ and Karaoke bar scene grilling up pork belly in the traditional Korean BBQ style.

Whiskey wise, this will be our largest tasting yet. Sample over 50 bourbons, rye and other American whiskies, three specialty bourbon cocktails, and get a taste of Armagnac, what some are calling the new bourbon. A few notables on the line up include Wild Turkey Master’s Keep 17yr Bourbon, Old Forester 1897 Bottled in Bond, and Jim Beam Masterpiece Bourbon.

To round out the offerings, and because Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, we’ll be doling out specially created Maple Bacon Caramels dipped in milk chocolate By Roni-Sue’s Chocolates. There’s really no better way to spend an afternoon than sipping on the best that American Whiskey has to offer and reaffirming your love for bacon.

Like last year, we’re splitting this event into two sessions to quell the crowd, and each session comes with its own unique VIP ticket option. VIP tickets include admission to the general tasting.
