VIP Seminar: Barrel Aged Cocktails with David Perkins of High West Distillery with David Perkins

VIP Attendees will receive exclusive VIP pre-access to our social tasting event, “A Spirits Tasting for Cocktail Making” between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. Plus, after the seminar, attendees will have access to the social tasting again until 8:00 p.m.

Join David Perkins of High West Distillery, recipient of Malt Advocate’s Pioneer of the Year, for a comparative course in cocktails in The Study at Astor Center. Enjoy two of High West’s barrel aged cocktails - "The 36th Vote" Barreled Manhattan and the Barreled Boulevardier - taste the bourbon and rye used in the cocktails, then roll up your sleeves and stir up your own versions for a fun comparison. Along the way David will discuss distillation, explain the effect that barrel aging has on whiskey and cocktails, and share his story about opening and operating the world’s only ski-in gastro-distillery in Park City, Utah.
