American Single Malts are one of the fastest growing categories within American whiskey. These innovative drams have garnered praise for their unique and experimental flavor profiles. American malt whiskey most often departs from the Scottish style with the use of charred new oak barrels and is the perfect crossover for serious Scotch and Bourbon drinkers alike.
In this class, Allan Roth will guide you through a tasting flight of the category's best and brightest whiskeys. The class will compare American malt whiskeys with traditional profiles against the non-traditional flavors in many American malts including smoke, hops, and non-traditional grains.
Classes can be purchased individually or as a set of two or three. Purchase three classes and receive a 20% discount.
Each tasting will include a sampling of snacks from our kitchen.
