Dave Broom, contributor to WHISKY ADVOCATE, author of the smash hit THE WORLD ATLAS OF WHISKY and the yet to be released, WHISKY - THE MANUAL, is coming to town to support his new book. We got our hands on an advanced copy and it has already become our new favorite whiskey resource. We are honored that Dave has agreed to make the trek to Char No. 4 to share his knowledge. The new book has a new focus -- Whenever whisky has been popular it has been drunk long, mixed, made into cocktails or been flavored. The reason? Because it tastes great that way!
Join us Saturday, May 10th at 4:00pm in our back room where 20 guests will get the opportunity to sip fine whiskey in the company of one of the world's foremost authorities on our favorite drink. Dave will discuss his book and field your questions.
Admission is $40 and includes 4 whiskies, mixers chosen specifically by Dave to match those whiskies, and some snacks from our kitchen. Reservations will be accepted immediately and based on past experience the limited spots will go quickly so please call soon to guarantee a seat.
