This Kentucky Derby Day, put a lot of South in your mouth at Brother Jimmy’s Union Square, where you don’t have to be on Millionaire’s Row to drink endless mint juleps while watching the Run for the Roses. For just $40, you’ll get 2hrs (5-7p) of bottomless drinks, from traditional juleps, to Shock Top, Bud & Bud Light, plus a buffet of Bro-J’s beloved BBQ -- including wings, pulled pork sliders, fries, and rib tips, the most important being that if you can see the horse’s ribs, don’t bet on him, ‘cause he’s way too skinny.
Speaking of seeing horses, you'll be doing that in great detail thanks to a half-dozen 42” HD screens and a massive 60” projector playing Derby coverage all day. Of course, you’re encouraged to come decked out in your best seersucker, as May 5th is one of maybe three days it’s actually acceptable to wear it, even for Millionaires.
