Bourbon and Chocolate

Why not? Bourbon is a natural companion to chocolate. Rich, sweet and complex. Well, Bourbon goes well with a lot of things, but we’ll start with chocolates from La Maison du Chocolat. From the praline to the caramel, the toffee, coconut, citrus, spices, etc, chocolate can be given a plethora of variations, but some pairings work better than others. The 8 whiskeys chosen are showing a great deal of diversity with each giving a flavor or texture a stronger accent. While the cacao-and-whiskey treat is a common thing in KY, it is only starting to emerge as a culinary interest in NY: we’re behind and that’s not like us…$120 all inclusive.
