Bourbon: Past & Present

We've been hoarding these bottles for quite some time now, and it's time to release these spirits of the past! Remember when Weller Special Reserve was available everywhere and for under $25 a bottle? Well, we'll taste that next to its modern era, impossible-to-acquire version. How about a Harper 15 years from the '80s and its current version (after a 2-year disappearance that left us so sad), or the duo of Baker's, this rich small batch that became a single barrel recently, and the Jim Beam 'Black', an 8-year-old that turned 'extra aged'...Opposing these marks is an opportunity to talk about Bourbon History at large and the industry's current state, punctuating our tasting session with stories and anecdotes while going through the technical differences between these brands.

A light cocktail and delicious bites will precede these 8 whiskies. About 2 hours long.
