Bourbon vs. Rye

Rye is clearly the backbone of most Bourbons…yet, the “wheaters” lovers will tell you otherwise. But most Ryes really only have 51% of this grain in their mashbill. So, once again, it’s complicated, but we’ll make it easy on you. Rye has been trendy for the last 8 to 10 years now and you sure have a bottle at home to satisfy your Mad Men-inspired cocktail sessions. You’ll probably love both at the end of the class, but you’ll know why then.

This class is part of our "Spirituous Battles” series…covering two major spirits categories or sub-categories and opposing them in a fun way. Bottled water, nuts and crakers are provided while we investigate a 4 x 1 ounce tasting flight.
