Brooklyn Whiskey Academy (BWA)

With over 20 years of combined experience in the wine and liquor business, Doug Zimmerman and Rennie Alba are avid whiskey fans who formed the BWA with the mission of sharing our knowledge and love of this wonderful spirit with as many people as possible.

This introductory class will walk you through the basics of understanding and enjoying whiskey. Beginning with a basic explanation of what whiskey is and how it's made, you'll have the opportunity to taste typical examples of whiskeys from the U.S., Scotland, Ireland and Canada, with a focus on American whiskey and Scotch. We'll cover the ways in which it's produced, regional styles, how to taste, what to look for as a consumer, as well as a little bit of whiskey history, all while having as much fun as possible!

We will have two events in the month of September. 9/21 and 9/28. If you can't make the 21st, well please join us on the 28th.

This event is for people who are 21 and over and for all people who are whiskey lovers or just want to have fun and learn the basics about it.

This event is not free
Cost:
$60
