USQ presents The Sazerac Series: Buffalo Trace Bash

USQ is delighted to welcome the boys of Buffalo Trace to the salon for an evening of bourbon, barbeque, and blues in the long-awaited third installment of The Sazerac Series at USQ. NYC's bourbon brethren who were with us for the Bourbon Blowout and Pappy Van Winkle Party will be pleased to partake of our last and most diverse chapter of the distillery's exalted elixirs!
Kris Comstock, bourbon brand manager at Buffalo Trace Distillery, and David Harper of Sazerac Co. will be on hand to divulge technical information and delve out pours of Buffalo Trace Bourbon, Elmer T. Lee Single Barrel, Eagle Rare 10yr Single Barrel, USQ's own "J&T White Light Selection" Blanton's Single Barrel, and Sazerac Rye 6yr. Cocktail connoisseurs may look forward to The Sazerac Cocktail, Vieux Carré, Old Fashioned, and Mint Julep at the hands of master mixologist Phil Pepperdine.
Attendees may look forward to a brief presentation by Kris Comstock as he expounds on the daily activities of distillery life and introduces Buffalo Trace's latest offering- White Dog! The colorless White Dog traditionally commemorates the beginning of the distilling season and is toasted each year from the very first barrel of whiskey produced. In addition to this new dram on the block, sentimental favorites George T. Stagg Bourbon and Sazerac Thomas Handy Rye will be administered after the discussion. Check out all of these offerings as you enjoy barbeque from Daisy May's (ZAGAT BEST IN NYC 2005-2008!) and live blues all evening long!
RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED to attend this walk around event. Tickets cost $30 and include a Buffalo Trace Distillery tasting glass and plate of Daisy May's barbeque! Space is limited so please limit 2 tickets per customer. Cancellations NOT accepted 24 hours prior to event.
