Catskill Distilling Company owner and distiller Monte Sachs grew up on a dairy farm in coastal Connecticut and first encountered the art of distillation while attending veterinary school in Italy. In 2008, he and his wife Stacy opened a micro distillery in Bethel, NY, where they now produce such artisan products as the Most Righteous Bourbon and the Peace Vodka. We'll be tasting both at this peace, love, and happiness tasting (Catskill Distilling Co. is just a stone's throw from the sacred grounds of 1969's Woodstock) so join in on the fun.
