DEANSTON AND BUNNAHABHAIN: FROM THE HIGHLANDS TO ISLAY
6:00pm to 8:00pm
Deanston is a Highland Scotch that began as a cotton mill before becoming a distillery in 1966. Their single malt Scotches are unfiltered, pure expressions, showing natural colors and flavors. Bunnahabhain Distillery lies on the northeastern tip of Scotland's Islay and was established in 1881. Known as the "Gentle Taste of Islay," the Scotch is distilled using clear spring water and un-peated malted barley, giving it a cleaner, less dominant taste than some of its Islay counterparts. We will be tasting two Scotches from each of these established distilleries, the 12-Year and Virgin Oak from Deanston, as well as the 12-Year and Toiteach from Bunnahabhain. Join us for a look at benchmark Scotch production in both the Highlands and Islay.
