Char No. 4 doesn't have a TV, but that won't stop us from having a Kentucky Derby
Party. Join us tomorrow for our 4th annual Derby on The Radio, which is the more
traditional, and for purists, arguably the more enjoyable way to experience the
race. The post time is approximately 6:24pm.
Barrel-Aged Mint Juleps will be $7 dollars all day and with every mint julep you
order, you'll get to draw a ticket that has the name of one of the horses in the
Derby. Anyone with a ticket that has the name of the winning horse will receive
a 375 ml bottle of Blanton's Single Barrel Bourbon. There are a limited number of
tickets so early julep drinkers will be rewarded.
Additionally, in a nod to the fact that this year's Derby falls on the same day
as Cinco de Mayo, we will serve a special bar snack starting at 3:30: chorizo stuffed
jalapeno peppers with queso fresco and cilantro crema.
