Join Char No 4 in their back room tomorrow night, Tuesday April 8th, at 7:30pm for a tasting of Four Roses bourbons led by Al Young, former Distillery Manager and the National Brand Ambassador for Four Roses who literally wrote the book on this storied distillery.
Unavailable in the United State for many decades, Four Roses has made a major comeback among drinkers and critics alike. They are unique among American whiskey distilleries in that they use 2 mash bills, or mixtures of grain, and 5 different types of yeasts to create a total of 10 different bourbons. Master Distiller Jim Rutledge then uses these bourbons in different combinations to create the Yellow Label and Small Batch bourbons, always resulting in a delicious, classic Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey.
