High Times for High Rye
Tuesday, June 24th, 8:00pm
Whiskeys: Four Roses Small Batch, Old Grand-Dad Bottled-in-Bond, Pinhook "Bourbon Courage" and 1792 Ridgemont Reserve
While bourbon is known the world over for the sweet and mellow profile that comes from its high corn content, some like a bit of a spicy kick in our native spirit. Those that do turn to high-rye bourbons.
Come join us for a tasting in our back room where Allan Roth will guide you through a selection of high-rye bourbons, each highlighting the spicy and sometimes floral contributions of the rye grain to outstanding effect.
Classes can be purchased individually or as a set of two or three. Purchase three classes and receive a 20% discount.
Each tasting will include a sampling of snacks from our kitchen.
Call (718) 643-2106 or stop by the restaurant to purchase whiskey classes.
