Evan 2000 was our favorite of 2010 and we are one of the last bars to still have it
Tasting notes: Honey and Oak on the nose, Slight burn, medium finish. Very sessionable (yeah, we used a beer term for a bourbon). Vanilla Bean and baking spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. Surprisingly smooth finish which is very subtle with tropical summer fruits
We picked Barrel #1129 because of it's similarity to the barrels we got in the northeast last year. Plus it's smoothness made it one that would easily convert our friends and customers to bourbon drinkers!
