Jameson Black Barrel
It may have taken 232 years to get here, but we’re sure you’ll agree this spirit was worth the wait. It all began when our masters carefully selected a high proportion of Irish pot still whiskey and a rare small batch grain whiskey, and left it to mature in flame-charred bourbon barrels. As the whiskey matured, it developed aromatic notes of charred wood, deep spices and exotic fruit to create the unmistakable rich and smooth Jameson Black Barrel taste.
Tasting Characteristics
Nose: Rich and full, developing into the succulent sweetness of exotic fruits like nectarines, apricot and papaya.
Taste: A burst of flavours combines to produce a creamy, luscious taste experience. The special fruity sweetness from the grain remains consistent, while the waves of vanilla, toasted wood and spices roll through from the pot still whiskey and flame charred barrels.
Finish: An incredibly long finish with fruit and wood spices lingering in perfect proportion, delivering an extremely rich and smooth taste experience.
Jameson 12 Year Old Special Reserve
Jameson 12 Year Old Special Reserve, with its full-bodied flavour, is like a friendly handshake welcoming you into the world of aged whiskeys. With its pot still whiskeys infused with sherry casks, it’s the best known and most popular of the aged Jameson whiskeys. Exuding great character, its complex yet superbly mellow flavors of toasted wood, spice and sherry and its exquisite taste are a celebration of the enduring heritage of great Jameson whiskeys which began in 1780.
Tasting characteristics
NOSE - Warm, spicy, assertively complex.
TASTE - Sherry richness, nutty flavour, mild woody undertones.
FINISH - Rich and lasting.
Jameson Gold Reserve
Introduced in 1996, Jameson Gold traditionally was sold only in Travel Retail, but is now available in domestic markets as well. A creative blend of 3 whiskeys*, 1 of which is uniquely matured in virgin oak casks.
Tasting Characteristics:
Colour: Golden honey
Nose: Fragrant wood, rich pot still with a touch of sherry sweetness
Taste: All the creaminess & honey sweetness come together to create a taste sensation of spicy character
Finish: A very long finish with a pleasantly peppery finale.

Jameson 18 YO Limited Reserve
First introduced in 2002, Jameson 18 Year Old is the Master Blender’s (Billy Leighton) hand picked selection of very old Jameson Irish Whiskey, aged in oak casks for at least 18 years. Rich, complex and truly rare, only limited stocks of this exceptional whiskey are available, thus each bottle is individually numbered.
Tasting Characteristics:
Nose: Muted sherry tones, aromatic oils, touch of wood, spice & toffee
Taste: Very mellow & smooth, a mouthful of complex flavors, fudge/toffee, spice, gentle sherry nuttiness with toffee flavor
Finish: A long, lingering finish carries the theme of wood, spice & toffee right through to the end.
JAMESON 18YO LIMITED RESERVE
• The Master Blender’s hand-picked selection of very old Jameson Irish Whiskey, matured in bourbon and oloroso sherry casks for the first 18 years and finished in first fill American bourbon barrels.
• Aromatic oils with a touch of wood, spicy toffee on the nose, mellow, smooth and yet complex flavors of fudge/toffee, spice, hints of wood and leather, a gentle sherry nuttiness and vanilla notes.
