Not so long ago, few whisky drinkers were paying attention to Japan…now, everybody wants a piece of its whisky pie! And while the ‘old guard’ of producers just keeping on making the great stuff they’ve been making for decades, we’ve seen an influx of new producers releasing whiskies that are either very expensive, or very young, or flat out unconventional. It’s a bustling whisky scene that we want to show you, through the lens of the Majors. We’ll cover the origins of the Japanese whisky movement, the Japanese cultural traits applied to whisky making, along with the current drinking trends in Japan.

For those of you in person, class will start with some light snacks (themed with tasting category) and an introductory cocktail. We'll then sit for a information packed (and entertaining) presentation. We'll have a few nibbles on the table to enjoy along with your flight). For those of you joining virtually, it is best to enjoy a light meal or snack prior to the start of the tasting. Your tasting kit will arrive 2-3 days prior to the tasting date.
