Japan's whisky tradition is the youngest of the major producing nations - dating to the establishment of the Yamazaki distillery in 1923. Yet, much like spirits throughout the world, Japanese whiskeys are the beautiful interplay between exacting science and the cryptic influence of culture, ecology and climate.
