Come celebrate the Kentucky Derby from 12pm -8pm on Saturday May 4th, Williamsburg’s Maison Premiere (298 Bedford Avenue; 347-335-0446; www.maisonpremiere.com) will be hosting a party in honor of the Kentucky Derby featuring Bourbon Cured Ham Sandwiches, Strawberry shortcake, an extensive menu of $9 Mint Juleps showcasing Four Roses Bourbon, along with music provided by the Maison Premiere House Band. House Band starts at 3 and goes to 7. The Derby will also be broadcasted live on the cocktail den’s famous old fashioned radio from 5:28 to 5:30.
In Honor of this years derby and our joy for celebration and dressing for the occasion we are hosting a Derby Day Fashion challenge. The rules of engagement: post of a photo on our Facebook page of your best Derby Day outfit. Ladies and gentlemen will be respectively selected based on authenticity and style, winners will receive a $100 gift certificate as well as some potent potables.We will close the polls at Midnight on May 3rd. All participants/winners are encouraged to join us on our favorite American past time and enjoy some Mint Juleps in style.
