Kilchoman, Arran & Ben Nevis @ Chambers St Wines

6-8 on Wednesday the 30th

We welcome Ed Kohl, Managing Director of ImpEx beverages, to our store for a very special tasting. Impex imports some of Scotland’s most exciting new breed of Single Malts and we will be featuring the superb whiskies made at Kilchoman and Isle of Arran. Both distilleries are located on fairly remote islands off Scotland’s west coast where flavors of earth and sea speak of the spirits’ remote origins. Both distilleries are mainly interested in bottling their own single malt as opposed to selling to the blenders on the mainland. The theory follows that if you are putting your own whisky into a bottle with your name on it you’ll want it to be something that you’re truly proud of. Ed also works with Chieftain’s, which is a long established independent bottler specializing in unchill-filtered and non-caramel colored Scotch. We’ll be showing their 13 year Ben Nevis, which is an extremely delicious way to warm up on a cold, wintery night. Please join us this Wednesday the 30th from 6 to 8
