Global economic downturn, over-production, world wars and prohibition have all contributed to the loss of many distilleries. As a result of all these factors, many unique and venerable brands have been lost to the world.

Noorman’s Kil is a new whisky bar at 609 Grand Street in Williamsburg with a selection of over 350 whiskies.
It hosts regular tastings and other events. An assortment of grilled cheese sandwiches are on the menu and 12 rotating beers are be available on tap along with other spirits for the non-whiskey inclined.
