The Macallan Distillery was founded in 1824 in Moray, Scotland. It is the worlds's third largest-selling single malt. The distillery produces a number of expressions in its core Sherry Oak series and also whiskies produces in other used cask other than ex-sherry as part of the Fine Oak series.

Noorman’s Kil is a new whisky bar at 609 Grand Street in Williamsburg with a selection of over 350 whiskies.
It hosts regular tastings and other events. An assortment of grilled cheese sandwiches are on the menu and 12 rotating beers are be available on tap along with other spirits for the non-whiskey inclined.
