New York Distilled: A History of Spirits through Tasting with Colin Spoelman

Join Colin Spoelman, Co-Founder and Master Distiller of Kings County Distillery, as he takes a look back at the rich history of distilling in New York City. From the first recorded distillery in the U.S., to the heydays of whiskey-making before the Civil War, to the Brooklyn Whiskey Wars of the late 1800s, we’ll delve into the storied past of distilling in the Big Apple. We’ll also sample the spirits of King’s Country Distillery and other local producers as we take a look at how New York spirits have evolved over time in the Empire State.

Guests will Receive:

- One welcome drink.
- At least six different New York City spirit tastings.
- Palate-cleansing bread and cheese.
- Two hours of instruction, including Q&A time.
