Brian and Thomas McKenzie of Finger Lakes Distilling have teamed up with Claire Marin of Catskill Provisions to create a delicious new spirit– New York Honey! Local Rye aged in charred new American oak barrels is infused with local raw honey from Claire’s farm. The result is a hedonistic dram certain to please the brown spirit enthusiast and novice alike. Notes of toffee and vanilla are tempered by a smoky spice that lingers on the palate, finishing with subtle accents of lightly charred orange peel.
