Brady Konya and Ryan Lang founded Middle West Spirits in 2008 and opened their distillery in 2010 with the idea of celebrating the distinctive flavors of the Ohio River Valley. OYO, in fact, stands for the phonetic prononciation of Ohio. Inspired by four generations of distilling traditions and by artisanal methods, Konya and Lang now produce some of the most unique and lauded spirits in the region. We'll be tasting the OYO Honey Vanilla Bean Vodka, the Michelone Reserve Bourbon, the Single Cask Wheat Whiskey, and the Stone Fruit Whiskey, all of which are excellent tributes to the Buckeye State and beyond.
