From India to Taiwan, Japan and Bhutan, if there is grain, there could be whisky…and there are many whiskies as a matter of fact, that certainly rival American and Scottish favorites. But climates can be different, water and grains as well as oak species, etc. There is an astonishing variety of whiskies produced, we’ll only scratch the surface but hopefully it will entice you to look beyond the usual suspects of Irish, Scotch, Canadian and US-sourced pleasures.

This class is part of our "Alt Whisk(e)y" series . . . Exploring upcoming trends, unusual but noteworthy spirits, "indie" style productions, etc. Bottled water, nuts and crackers are provided while we investigate a 4 x 1 ounce tasting flight.
