Robert Burns Day: A Scottish Celebration

Join Astor Center for a spin on a Burns Day Supper with a seasonal celebration of three of the best things Scottish: Whisky, Haggis, and Robert Burns. Astor’s Spirits team has hand-selected a superb list of Scotch Whiskies to toast the Scottish poet, Robert Burns. This national poet of Scotland and author of Auld Lang Syne, has had an influence on many people across the world, through poetry and song and is traditionally celebrated with Burns Day Suppers. At Astor’s spin on the traditional supper, representatives from over 10 distilleries will pour samples of a wide range of Scotch whiskies, and guests can sip Scotch cocktails while we sample Haggis and sup on “neeps & tatties” (turnips and potatoes). It’s perfect fare for a wintry evening and the ideal accompaniment to the smoky spirit we all love so much.

Guests will receive:

  • Samples of over 20 craft Scotch whiskies
  • Samples of traditional Scottish fare
  • Tastes of three Scotch Cocktails
  • Discount on all Scotches available that day at Astor Wines & Spirits
  • This event is not free
