Scotch

It used to be that someone would walk into a bar and ask for a “Scotch, on the rocks please”. Now, you hear “gimme a sherried one, neat, would you?” We’ve learned to narrow our orders to a specific style of Scotch whisky: blend or single malt, ex-Bourbon barrel or ex-Sherry cask, no age statement-bearing or classic 15 year old, and above all, we’ve got used to be denied something we really wanted: the latest limited release of…whatever! The good news is, there still is a lot of Scotch whisky to be had!

This class is part of our "102" series…for people with already a veneer of knowledge (those who don’t should visit C&O for flights). Bottled water, nuts and crakers are provided while we investigate a 4 x 1 ounce tasting flight.
