Scotch 101 Class @ The Flatiron Room

By The Flatiron Room - Posted on 15 June 2015

Saturday, July 18, 2015 - 7:00pm

So you thought all Scotch was smokey and peaty? Do you know what peat is or smells like? Did you know that there are over 90 distilleries in Scotland who make whiskeys that do not feature smoke or peat? After taking this class, you'll understand peat's role in the production of Scotch, as well as completely understand concepts like cask-strength, chill filtration, and other bottle-label snippets. Signature cocktail and light appetizers provided.

Our whiskey school offers courses for all levels. We have classes for connoisseurs, and others for beginners who are simply curious to learn more.
