his class requires prior basic knowledge of Scotch Whisky… or simply some regular consumption of the liquid! We dive into the finer stuff here: from 19 year old Glendronach single cask to 25 year old Benromach and 5 more in between. The idea here is to explore the very mechanisms of age and finer taste profile achievements. What does enhance a Scotch? Are 3 more years that important to prefer an 24 year old WAY over its younger 21 year old sibling? What about this unctuous old single malt…do you fancy this dram because of its price, the reminiscence of the wine the barrel had held before, or is it simply due to its longer stay in it? Yes, we’ll talk about Johnnie Walker Blue, and Macallan! Passed hors d’oeuvres, cocktail.
