A Spotlight on Campbeltown

Tucked away on Scotland's Mull of Kintyre, Campbeltown boasts one of the country's most storied histories of whisky production. One hundred years ago you would find over 30 active distilleries plying their trade within Scotland’s smallest designated whisky region. Today there are only 3 in operation, with Glen Scotia operating on a shoe-string budget and only 7 employees. Yet while the hustle and bustle of what was once called the “whisky capital of the world” might have subsided, the classic Campbeltown style of smoke, salt, sea air and an underlying nutty and dried fruit savory-sweetness continues with the brilliant work of the distillers who remain.

Please join us for a special sit-down seminar exploring the complexity of Scotland’s most unique, and uniquely endangered whisky producing region. We’ll be opening a variety of Springbank offerings, along with the last work-in-progress editions of the recently revived Glengyle distillery, and to top it all off, a very special vintage independent bottling of Glen Scotia. Reservations are required, and seating is limited. To secure your seat now, follow this link.
