About this event :
Ever walk into a bar, pick up a menu with 300 whiskies… and put it right back down? You’re not alone. Come join us for a lively, informative, and welcoming class for both curious beginners and passionate imbibers to deepen their understanding and appreciation of whisky.

Our monthly whisky adventure will begin in the heart of Manhattan, in the private tasting room at St. Andrews in Times Square. During the evening, we will learn how whisky is made, aged, and tasted. We will learn about major types of whisky and how to compare them. We will learn how to decode the small print on bottle labels and debunk popular whisky myths. You will also have the opportunity to ask a bartender those whisky questions you were always afraid to ask.

The $35 class will include tastings of some of the most popular whiskies on the market, a whisky tasting wheel, a Whersky 101 cheat sheet, and a delicious cocktail to cap off the evening. After this class you’ll be a whisky drinker, and it’s about dram time!
