Whiskey Smackdown: The Craft Movement

This class will be a free-for-all dedicated to the craft whiskey movement that has bruised up the establishment and caused an uproar among the big boys. From New York to Texas, small distillers are commanding attention, and many have been around long enough to produce wonderfully aged products. But even more than that, they're coming into the game fearlessly, looking to challenge conventions, break some rules, and lead with innovation. We'll taste whiskies from a variety of U.S. distilleries, discuss their unique approaches to production, local sourcing, and origin stories.
