For half a decade, Widow Jane has been striving to put fine spirits on store shelves, bar racks and the very glass in your hand. Frankly we feel pretty lucky to have had this opportunity for so long, and now it's time to celebrate! Friday the 13th of October, we hope to find friends and strangers alike drifting out of the shadowy night to sip and snack under flickering candlelights. There will be live music drifting throughout the distillery, enticing your hips to give a little shake. All merriment aided, of course, by the whiskey poured generously into your complimentary Widow Jane rocks glass. Delightful bites will be provided to pair with good conversation. For those feeling a rebellious sense of fortune, there will be raffles to enter and prizes to be had. Other mysterious attractions will also be found tucked away amongst barrels and antique chocolate making machinery.
From upstate New York, Keegan's Ales will join us again this year to serve their tasty brews and Red Hook Winery will supply some great wine. Williamsburg Pizza will be on hand purveying delectable slices. As always, the smells and tastes of Cacao Prieto's single origin chocolate will be here to delight your palettes. Botanica will be serving fresh cocktails all night long and we will also be hosting a few close friends and the treats they make, here to help us celebrate.
As in years before, this will be your chance to pick up some special releases and have a hand at bottling your own bourbon. We are once again partnering with You Gotta Believe, a charity whose mission is to make sure every kid leaving foster care is connected with a loving and permanent family for life. Ten percent of all ticket sales for the night will be donated, so good karma and good company will be bountiful.
