Breuckelen Distilling is an artisan distillery located in Brooklyn, New York. We make our delicious gin from organic New York grains entirely within our Brooklyn location. Breuckelen is a tiny fraction of the size of typical distilleries but our production methods create products of the highest quality.
Breuckelen’s founder, Brad Estabrooke, is an ordinary guy with an extraordinary love of distinctive wines and spirits. Believe it or not, his idea for the distillery formed after reading an article in an in-flight magazine a couple of years ago. The article discussed some of the new laws that have been put into place that make it easier for micro-distilleries to open and stay afloat. Brad started looking into the idea, assuming that he would come to a point in the road where he could go no further and he’d have to give up on the idea. Fortunately for all of us, he still hasn’t hit that point. When he was laid off from his finance job back in December of 2008, he began working full time on the project.
