Blackened

Sweet Amber Distilling Co., founded 2018 — Metallica's whiskey, conceived with the late Dave Pickerell and now blended by Rob Dietrich. A blend of sourced straight bourbons and ryes finished in brandy casks, then subjected to "Black Noise": Metallica played at the maturing barrels loudly enough to move the liquid through the wood. Sweet Amber has said it intends to build its own distillery in the Bay Area.
