A Global Single Malt Tour

Single malt was once made only in Scotland and Ireland, but it is now distilled around the world. Whiskey writer Noah Rothbaum leads this two-hour class at Astor Center, pouring six single malts from different countries and sharing the stories behind them, along with findings from his recent book, The Whiskey Bible: A Complete Guide to the World's Greatest Spirit.

Your ticket includes a welcome cocktail made with single malt whisky and the guided tasting. The class covers how single malt is produced, how climate, ingredients and technique shape flavor, and how to evaluate malts from different countries. Suitable for beginner to intermediate drinkers, with questions welcome.

Never miss a dram.
