Flaky pie dough, lighter-than-air biscuits, rich cookies…Chef-Instructor Emily Peterson will walk you through the texture benefits of using lard in your dough, and of integrating the smoky umami of bacon traditionally in savory baked goods and unexpectedly in sweet desserts. Seminar attendees will leave with recipes for the sampled treats.
