Join Barrow’s Intense from October 12th through 20th to celebrate the second annual New York Rye Week! This ancient grain has an important place in New York’s history, beginning with its cultivation in both the Dutch and English colonial eras. Used for making rye flour, rye beer, and rye whiskey, the versatile grain thrives in New York’s glacial soil and northern climate and has enjoyed a prominent place in New York agriculture for hundreds of years.
This Rye Week, stop by the Barrow’s Intense Tasting Room from 3-6pm to celebrate with a free tasting of some of the best rye whiskeys out of New York State.
