BLACKENED is the super-premium whiskey collaboration from late Master Distiller Dave Pickerell and Metallica. A blend of hand-selected, well-aged bourbons & ryes, uniquely finished in black brandy casks and the earth shattering music of Metallica.
Using technology developed in partnership with Meyer Sound, each batch of whiskey is blasted with its very own Metallica playlist, selected and arranged by the band themselves. The ultra-low frequency sound waves force the whiskey to penetrate deeper into the barrel, extracting more caramel and honey flavors from the wood.
