PART 1 - Tradition and History Explored
January 23, 2013 at 7:00pm
Sample Kentucky's best bourbons to discover what makes a fine bourbon taste so good. Understand what to look for in terms of complexity, and explore in-depth the rules and methods distillers use to create this fine spirit. We will blind taste 6 different bourbons to challenge our taste buds in an effort to tease out the almost 80 aroma compounds in addition to covering history, casking, distilling, and of course, drinking. You will leave this class with a solid foundation on America's fine spirit. Light fare will be served.
