Buffalo Trace Single Oak Project Tasting
Saturday, October 11th, 4pm
Whiskeys: Buffalo Trace Single Oak Project Barrels (5 Barrels)

The Single Oak Project is the most extensive bourbon experiment ever undertaken. In 1999 former Buffalo Trace Warehouse Manager Ronnie Eddins hand selected 96 trees from which 192 barrels were made with a variety of stave seasoning times and char levels. These barrels were then filled with different recipe whiskeys (wheat and rye formula bourbons) at different entry proofs (105 and 125), stored in different warehouse styles (wood ricks and concrete floors) and left to age for 8 years. In the end, this experiment yielded 1,396 taste combinations and no two bottles in the 192 bottle set are exactly alike. We were lucky enough to get our hands on 5 of these special bottles: #11, #43, #45, #75 & #77.

Join us for a very special afternoon tasting where we will sample 5 barrels from the Single Oak Project and determine which combination best suits your palate.

Admission is $50 per person.

Classes can be purchased individually or as a set of 2 or 3. Purchase all 3 and receive a 20% discount.
