Do you enjoy drinking whiskey and rum, but aren't sure how to incorporate them into a cocktail? Are you already down with crafting cocktails and are looking to expand your cocktail-making horizons? Join the Astoria Whiskey Society at the Astoria Park Wine & Spirits' lovely outdoor event space for this exciting hands-on cocktail class.
Mayur Subbarao, Co-Founder of Bittermens Spirits and Brand Development Manger for Blueprint Spirits, will lead us through a tasting of Blueprint Spirits' whiskies and rums (and maybe even some of their lighter spirits). After tickling your tastebuds, Mayur will show us how to craft a few of his favorite tipples. You'll get to try your hand at mixing and shaking some libations as well. We will provide a plethora of spirits, mixers, fresh fruits, juices, herbs, and spices for your creations. Let the creative juices flow and design your own signature cocktail with a little help from the pros. Your original creation will be judged, with the winner taking home a bottle of the Blueprint Spirit of your choice.
