For our whisky drinkers, we will be tasting examples from the Compass Box Whisky, a specialist Scotch whiskymaker. The Oak Cross Blended Malt Scotch Whisky is named to illustrate its aging in both American and French oak casks. It has vanilla notes from the American oak and spicy, clove-like flavors from the French oak. The Flaming Heart Vatted Malt Scotch Whisky is a big, smoky malt whisky with rich, concentrated vanilla and spice character. The Great King St. New York Blend is a custom Limited Edition, made especially for our city. It is a hearty, full-flavored style of Scotch whisky with a big smoky, dried fruit and malt complexity.
