FOUR ROSES BOURBON: A CLASSIC REVISITED
6:00pm to 8:00pm
Established in 1888, Four Roses was one the most popular and well-regarded American whiskies of its time until Prohibition. It was revived afterwards by Seagram's, who sold the bourbon in international markets and sold awful, cheap, harsh, grain whiskey under the Four Roses name in the States. In 1995, Jim Rutledge was installed as Head Distiller, and in 2002 the brand was bought by Kirin, who decided to stop selling blended grain whiskey and focus exclusively on the bourbons for the first time in over a century. Jim, aided by Al Young, both of whom are Bourbon Hall of Famers, have built this brand back up to being one of the most sought-after, high-quality American whiskies in the world.
