The Glenfiddich Distillery was founded in 1886 by William Grant in Dufftown, Scotland. Over 120 years later, Glenfiddich is one of the few single malt distilleries to remain entirely family owned and their whisky has become the world's most awarded single malt.
Glenfiddich is Gaelic for "Valley of the Deer".
